Dr Clouston - Physician of Royal Edinburgh Asylum 051 Recently told the students of Edinburgh University that there are 17,500 persons in the British Empire insane through drink !
and that one half of the suicides in England are owing to alcoholic insanity. He said that even small quantities of alcohol will develop a hereditary taint of insanity; when otherwise it might lie dormant.
