Shropshire Dispensaries


The Dispensary in Belmont, founded in 1843, was converted in 1875 into a Provident dispensary, a payment of 13s, yearly being made for Husband, Wife and Children, 8s 8d for Wife and Children and 4s 4d for single persons, excepting domestic servants, who pay 5s yearly. These payments entitle members to the usual benefits, including attendance at their own homes if necessary.
