Weymouth Poor Law Union and Workhouse

Board Day, alternate Tuesdays, at the Poor Law Institution, at 2.30pm.
The Union comprises the following Parishes:

The population in 1911 was 47,733; area 33,223 acres; rateable value, Lady Day, 1915, 222,270.
Clerk to the Guardians and Assessment Committee, Harold A.G. Stevens, Bank Chambers, St Thomas Street, Weymouth.
The Poor Law Institution, Rodwell, is a building of stone, erected to hold 360 inmates;
Rev. Robert Crowther M.A., Chaplain.

Mrs S. Perkins, Matron.
