The area is 81,533 acres; rateable value 99,673; the population in 1911 was 18,675.

Clerk to the Guardians and Assessment Committee, Montagu Luff M.A. Church Street, Wimborne.
The Poor Law Institution, East Borough, is a structure of brick, built about 1780, to hold 186 inmates;
