Strand Union

The Parish of St Martin in the Fields was added to Strand Union in 1868.
Strand Union amalgamated with other Unions in 1913 to become The City of Westminster Union.

New Workhouse for the Strand Union at Edmonton
The foundation stone of the new workhouse at Tanner's End Edmonton, was quietly laid on the 23rd instant. The anticipated expenditure is about 60,000. Mr. W.S. Cross is the architect. The tenders for some of the fittings were given in our last issue.
