The Board of Guardians meet at the Workhouse on alternate
Mondays at 1pm. The area of the Union is 46,946 acres, rateable value in 1900
£97,567 and the population in 1891 was 12,215.
The Union comprises 16 parishes, 12 of which are in the County of Salop, and 4 in the County of Stafford;
Albrighton, Badger, Beckbury, Blymhill, Boninghall, Boscobel, Donington, Kemberton, Patshull, Ryton, Sheriff Hales, Shifnal, Stockton, Sutton Maddock, Tong and Weston-under-Lizard.
