Shifnal Union

The Board of Guardians meet at the Workhouse on alternate Mondays at 1pm. The area of the Union is 46,946 acres, rateable value in 1900 97,567 and the population in 1891 was 12,215.

The Union comprises 16 parishes, 12 of which are in the County of Salop, and 4 in the County of Stafford;
Albrighton, Badger, Beckbury, Blymhill, Boninghall, Boscobel, Donington, Kemberton, Patshull, Ryton, Sheriff Hales, Shifnal, Stockton, Sutton Maddock, Tong and Weston-under-Lizard.
